4. Inland Container Depot (ICD): PIA’s ICD, with a capacity of 150,000 TEU, caters to landlocked countries such as Burkina, Mali, and Niger. The ICD reduces congestion at the Port Autonome de Lomé (PAL), increases quayside productivity, and enhances country attractiveness. It also provides better control over transit cargo, improving visibility on trade statistics and logistics transparency.

5. Cold storage: PIA’s cold chain logistics in Togo aim to reduce food wastage and enhance shelf life. By opening opportunities for exporting locally grown fruits and vegetables under special trade agreements, PIA creates employment opportunities and upskills the workforce. The health sector also benefits from these warehouse facilities, strengthening supply chains and distribution operations.

6. Finished product storage: PIA offers dedicated facilities for the storage of raw materials, finished products, project materials, and transit cargo. Supply chain activities include quality assurance, logistics management, and coordination with approved transporters. These facilities ensure the safe and efficient storage and movement of goods.

7. Commercial & residential zone: PIA’s commercial and residential zones feature areas for retail, convenience stores, restaurants, hotels, banks, and management brands. The residential zone includes multiple-unit dwellings and high-rise apartment districts, providing modern living spaces and promoting urban development.

8. Textile: PIA collaborates with the Togolese government to attract foreign investors in the textile sector. Initiatives include constructing garment training centers to introduce trainees to the industry, creating direct and indirect employment, and fulfilling corporate social responsibility through various initiatives. This approach catalyzes a skilled workforce and enhances the sector’s competitiveness.

9. Solar: PIA, in partnership with the Togolese government, is committed to providing renewable power through solar energy projects. These projects include the installation of solar power plants with battery storage systems, supplying clean energy to the industrial platform. The Adétikopé solar power plant is set to become the largest photovoltaic power generation facility in Togo and the West African sub-region.
